Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Rent a Book. All services provided by this website are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

• This service is available only in Lahore.
• On receiving your ordered books, you must sign the receipt. The receipt will contain the list of books ordered by you and the condition that they are in. By signing the receipt you are agreeing that you have received the listed books and in the condition that they are listed on the receipt.
• Orders must be cancelled before Saturday. It is your responsibility to cancel any unwanted orders before Friday midnight.
• All books must be returned to Rent A Book two weeks after their delivery. In case of delay in returning books, you agree to pay a fine of 15 Rs. for every book that is being returned late. Rent A Book reserves the right to change the amount of fine.
• The condition in which the book is returned needs to match the original condition in which you received the book. Any writing, missing pages or book covers or other damage will result in a fine. In case of extreme damage to the book you may be asked to cover the price of replacing the book.
• If your book is lost or stolen, you are responsible for the book. You will be asked to pay a fine equal to the price of the book to replace the book.
• Any information you submit to us, or any information we collect, is subject to the Rent A Book privacy policy.
• You consent to receive communications from us, in the form of emails or phone calls. Emails and phone calls will be used mainly to inform you of alerts, updates and schemes and/or to ask for directions to your address.
• Rent A Book attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Rent A Book does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. The cover images shown for books may not correspond to the actual covers of the books you receive.
• In case of the suspension of the Rent A Book service, you will still be responsible for returning any previously rented books back to Rent A Book.
• Rent A Book may revise, suspend, and/or discontinue any aspect of this site at any time without prior notice.
• Rent A Book reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion. Users may be blacklisted and lose the use of their accounts in case of misuse of books.
• Rent a Book reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
